Precise
Quality begins with precision. Apex Physio believes in helping you achieve your goals starting with a precise and complete diagnosis to carve the most effective path forward.
Complete
A diagnosis begins with identifying a source of pain, limitation or pathology, however it is complete when we identify other factors that may contribute or cause the original diagnosis. This could be previous injuries, lifestyle factors or other medical conditions and movement limitations.
Holistic
No one treatment works for everything and for everyone. We employ various treatments including passive treatments (massage, manual therapy, mobilisations, manipulation, dry needling), but also active treatments (mobility exercises, motor control, strengthening). The recommended treatment would change depending on your goals and diagnosis.
Effective
We are only as effective as you are. Having a precise and complete understanding of your condition also helps us plan the path forward with you so that you can also take steps to reach your goals. Our goal is for you to reach yours - with or without us.
Budiman Pranjoto
Physiotherapist / Director
Budi is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a special interest in diagnostics. Budi came from the sunny country of Indonesia and has lived in multiple countries which gave him the opportunity to be fluent in English, Malay and Indonesian but he has now lived in New Zealand for over a decade.
His journey until this point has been relatively unusual for most health professionals as his initial education and training were aimed for engineering students which developed his analytical and problem solving skills but continued onto Biomedical Sciences. Whilst he was invested in biomedical knowledge, he ultimately decided that he enjoyed helping people directly rather than through research and lab work which drove him into Physiotherapy.
Beyond his initial training and qualifications, he has completed various post-graduate courses and training both in diagnostics and treatment. His training puts him in a unique position to utilise various diagnostic tools yet understand each of their limitations providing a more accurate diagnosis allowing for more efficient physiotherapy management.
